500g venison (can be substituted for beef)500 ml red wine2 sprigs rosemary20 juniper berries1 onionsalt and pepper
Slice the venison into large chunks.Marinate the meat in red wine with juniper berries, onion, thyme and rosemary overnight.Place in a baking dish and cook on a low heat (150C) for 6 hours.Serve with roast potatoes.
