Pasta Masterclass with Carmela Sereno Hayes
This December, join Salvi’s for a very special edition of their Pasta Masterclasses, as they team up with Carmela Sereno Hayes of Carmela’s Kitchen to celebrate all things pasta using traditional and authentic Italian techniques and ingredients.
Carmela Sereno Hayes is a cookery tutor specialising in the art of creating beautiful pasta. She is also an event cookery demonstrator, recipe developer, food writer and the author of two fantastic cookery books.
The event will be taking place on Tuesday the 5th of December at 6:00pm where guests will be greeted with a glass of prosecco and Salvi’s famous aperitivo boards before beginning their masterclass at 6:30pm. During the class, Carmela, alongside Maurizio Cecco of Salvi’s, will be teaching the class to make two types of pasta dough the traditional Italian way followed by various pasta shapes including cavatelli, cicatelli, gnocchetti sardi and fresh egg yolk tortellini with a roast pumpkin and amaretti filling.
The masterclass will continue for two hours before guests sit down for a Neapolitan meal prepared by Salvi’s award winning chefs which will be served with beautiful Italian wine.
